This article will walk you through the installation of the Mersive Solstice Desktop app if you are a RESPEC employee working on a RESPEC device.
First, Open software center from your search bar.
Search for Mersive Solstice in Software Center's search bar in the upper right.
Click on the application and click Install
The installation will proceed to download the application to your system. Once it finishes you will see a "Failed" status on the installer.
This is normal and expected. It is a quirk of the way the installer must work that it will say failed.
Allow for several minutes to pass and wait. The installer is actually proceeding in the background and will prompt you with a message to install drivers. Accept the installation and wait several minutes more. You should be prompted to restart your computer.
Once you restart your computer the Mersive Solstice app is installed on your system. Proceed with following the first time setup instructions found on the following solutions article.
