This article will discuss the steps you should follow if you are starting the Mersive Solstice app for the first time. These steps need to be performed to get your solstice app setup to sync with your calendar and make your user experience easier.



Setting up Auto Discovery of Devices


If Solstice was just installed and needs to be setup for the first time. You will want to input the discovery server for the Solstice devices and also sign into your Microsoft Live account so it integrates with your calendar. 


Open the App and navigate to Settings → General. On this screen input “vs-109-sccm.rsi.corp” in the input box.

This allows the application to auto discover the displays on the local network.

Connecting your Microsoft Live Account to your Solstice App

From inside the Solstice App click on the “Settings” menu and select “Conference” and then click on “Sign in with Microsoft

You will be prompted to authenticate you Microsoft account and you will have to complete the login process and give permission for the Solstice app to access your RESPEC calendar. 

Doing this will enable the solstice app to automatically join the meetings you start.

Now that all of this first time setup if complete you can proceed with connecting to a Solstice device for a meeting below. The downloading and setup process is only required if you do not have Solstice app installed.
