Problem: Autodesk has disabled its previously used on-premises licensing options. We need to convert the installed Autodesk applications over to using Autodesk's cloud-based licenses service. You should already have a login to Autodesk that has your licenses associated with it for the applications you use. To convert your applications over to using cloud-based licensing, see the instructions below.


1) Open Software Center from your Start Menu



2) Search for "named User License Fix"



3) Closeout of all your AutoDesk Apps and click "install"




When the installation is complete you will be able to open the Autodesk applications. Instead of your application looking for a licensing server, it will prompt you to log in with your Autodesk login credentials.


Once you have signed in you may be presented with a screen as shown below for "Single-user" or "Multi-user". Select the "Single-user" option.
