Revit Cloud sharing servers for collaborative work on models inside Revit requires your local computer to have a list of the cloud sharing servers where we store model files. To install the server list so you may connect to a cloud server and access models you need to follow the instructions in this article.

The server list connections are stored in a file named RSN.ini

The contents of the file are simple. It is the names of the servers on our network that you can connect to. These servers synchronize models between each other so you will want to select the one in your local office when opening a connection and viewing models.

RSN.ini Contents:

PDC-ANC-REVIT2

PDC-FAI-REVIT2

PDC-JNU-APP1

PDC-PAL-REVIT2

This RSN.ini file needs to be placed in the following location on your machine. "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit Server <release>\Config\RSN.ini"

You need to replace the <release> portion of the path with the year version of Revit you are installing it for.

Example:

For Revit 2022 it would be located in "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit Server 2022>\Config\RSN.ini"

For the convenience of installation, the current RSN.ini file is attached to this article and can be downloaded. Just place it in the proper location.
