To streamline and simplify the process of requesting new project folder setup on the N drive, we’ve made a form available on the IT Service Desk portal for you to complete. You can access the form in the service catalog at the following link – Setup New Nasuni Project
You’ll need to complete the required fields and let us know who will need access to the project folder.
Required fields:
- Project Number
- Project Name
- Project Lead
Project folder permissions:
- Discipline or Role Groups – There are some groups available for you to add everyone that works in a specific discipline or job role. You can choose one or more groups from the picklist.
- Individual Users – You can add one or more users in this search field that will need access to the project folder. Limiting access to a small group of users will help to prevent unnecessary access to project folders, provide better security, and reduce clutter in the project folder for others.
Additional comments:
- There’s an additional comments box where you can let us know if you need any other changes, e.g., existing project data being moved into the new folder from the temporary projects folder.
The form will automatically create a Service Request ticket for IT to review and complete. IT will reach out to you with if there are any additional questions and to let you know when the folder setup is complete.
