ProofPoint is an email protection platform that analyzes every email coming in and being sent from RESPEC mail server. The platform automatically withholds email deliveries sent to bulk groups and messages with known malicious intent including viruses, known malicious senders, high spam scores, and other known attack methods.
ProofPoint will automatically filter incoming messages and provide a daily report on the messages blocked from delivery via an email titled “End User Digest” (pictured below).
The digest email provides links to release messages that should not have been blocked (the link titled Release), release and permanently allow the sender that sent the email (the link titled Release and Allow Sender), and to reclassify the email thread as legitimate (the link titled Not Spam).
In addition to specific message actions there are links to request an updated end user digest (the link titled Request New End User Digest), request a report of all specifically defined blocked and allowed senders (the link titled Request Safe/Blocked Senders List), and perform account management (the link titled Manage My Account).
