If a new .pc3 file needs to be created in AutoCAD, follow the steps below:
- Open AutoCAD.
- Type PLOTTERMANAGER into the command line and press Enter. - This opens the folder where all .pc3 files are stored.
- Double-click "Add-a-Plotter Wizard".

In the wizard:
- Choose "My Computer" when prompted.
- Select the correct driver (e.g., HP DesignJet PS or 129-HP4200-1feng-PS).
- Click "Next" and follow the prompts.
- On the "Ports" screen, select your printer's port (or use the default).
- Name the PC3 file something recognizable, such as "129-HP4200-1feng-PS_Custom.pc3".
- Once saved, the file will appear as a printer option in the AutoCAD Plot window.
